talkSPORT wanted to remind the nation that it wasn’t just the best place for sports opinion and breaking news — it was also the home of 450 live football matches across the season.

To bring that energy to life, we created “It’s Time To Turn To talkSPORT” — a campaign built around the magnetic pull of live sport and the personalities fans love listening to. Featuring presenter Laura Woods and her surprisingly impressive ball skills, the work blended humour, personality and football culture to capture the excitement of turning to talkSPORT when the action matters most.

 

Rolled out across broadcast, digital and social, the campaign reinforced talkSPORT’s position at the centre of the national football conversation.

TalkSPORT: BACK OF THE NET

When BBC announced it was ending its legendary classified football results service after 70 years, football fans reacted with outrage.

So talkSPORT stepped in to save the day. “talkSPORT 1. BBC Sport 0.”

 

Built around the cultural significance of the football results ritual, the campaign tapped directly into fan nostalgia and sporting rivalry, positioning talkSPORT as the new home for passionate football fans across the UK.
